Why choose PVC windows?
PVC is a material that barely conducts heat. That's why a well-installed PVC window keeps a home warm in winter and cool in summer, and it shows on the heating and air-conditioning bill. It also never rusts or needs painting.
Thermal insulation
Multi-chamber profiles reinforced with steel or a thermal insert. In the higher ranges, the frame’s thermal transmittance drops to as low as 1.0 W/m²K, and some profiles carry Passivhaus certification for new builds and demanding renovations.
Less noise
Weatherstripping and acoustic double glazing. Sliding windows reach between 28 and 33 dB of sound insulation, ideal if you live next to a busy street.
No leaks
The ranges we install are tested against water, air and wind (up to water-tightness class E 1350, air permeability class 4 and wind resistance class C5).
Minimal maintenance
Soap and water is all it needs. PVC doesn't rust, doesn't rot and never needs varnish or paint over the years.
Types of PVC windows and doors we install
We work across the whole range, so we can handle anything from a bathroom window to the large living-room window or the terrace exit:
Casement and tilt-and-turn
The classic windows, with one or two panels, which also tilt open to ventilate without opening fully.
Sliding
With 2 and 3 panels, with narrower profiles to maximise light and a threshold adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Lift-and-slide
For large openings of up to 3 m: the panel lifts before sliding, closes air-tight and can take panels of up to 300 kg.
Tilt-and-slide
They tilt open to ventilate and slide in parallel, with very good thermal and acoustic insulation.
Monorail and balcony doors
Terrace doors with one fixed and one moving panel, very sturdy and wind-tight.
Folding (accordion)
The panels fold to one side to open the space fully towards the terrace or garden.
PVC with an aluminum finish: the best of both materials
If you like aluminum's slim look but want PVC's insulation, we also install a mixed system: the window's core is PVC (97% recycled), with aluminum profiles inside and out.
- Passivhaus certification, depending on the glazing.
- Hidden sash and a narrow outer profile, for very clean lines.
- Double glazing from 28 to 32 mm for high-performance technical glass.
- Welded frame and sash, with no corner brackets, for a stiffer window.
- Hardware with perimeter locking, more secure.
- Any lacquered or anodised colour, different inside and out if you want.
PVC or aluminum?
Both options are good; it depends on what you need. PVC insulates more by nature, so it is the usual choice when comfort and energy savings come first. Aluminum carpentry allows slimmer profiles, bigger panes and a huge range of colours, and is very strong. And the mixed system combines both.

Frequently asked questions
Do PVC windows insulate better than aluminum ones?
Generally, yes: PVC conducts very little heat, while aluminum needs a thermal break to insulate well. With good double glazing, both options are a big improvement over an old window; on the visit we tell you which fits your home better.
How much does it cost to switch to PVC windows?
It depends on the measurements, the opening type, the glass and the colour of each window. That's why we do a visit and a quote made to measure, free and with no obligation.
Can I have PVC windows that look like aluminum?
Yes. We install a system with a PVC core and aluminum profiles inside and out: it insulates like PVC and looks like aluminum, in whatever colour you want.
Do you also do PVC sliding doors and terrace doors?
Yes: 2- and 3-panel sliding doors, lift-and-slide for openings of up to 3 m, tilt-and-slide, monorail, balcony doors and folding doors.
Do you fit matching shutters and insect screens?
Yes. We also install roller shutters, insect screens and awnings, so we can leave the whole window finished in a single job.
Do you work in my area?
We are based in Ripollet and work across the Vallès, the city of Barcelona and the rest of Barcelona province. If your project is outside this area, ask us.
